Ammonium Hydroxide is also known as Aqua Ammonia. This is a solution of ammonia gas in water. This colorless liquid comes with a strong, pungent and characteristic odor in concentrated form. It may cause burns when it comes in contact with the skin. This ordinary household ammonia can also be used as a cleanser in diluted form. Its boiling point is 38 °C (25%) and melting point is -58 °C (25%). In addition to this, its density and specific gravity is 0.90 @ 25 deg C/25 deg C. Ammonium Hydroxide emits ammonia and nitroxides when it is heated to decomposition.
